The first thing I did was look into the brand and I found that they have an icon shape which their information rest within their packaging. So I began by getting the shape and playing around with it, as I knew keeping it would be essential to keep brand loyalty as a full redesign would work. As Heinz already has strong brand loyalty. I experiemented with rounding off the corner various amount and tried different styles of the shape.

After producing the shapes, I then got into a call with adam and we discussed the shapes and positives and negatives of all the shapes. The shapes highlighted red looked too much like a crest so they were out of the running. The shapes which are circled green are the shapes we both thought were the most successful.

Once Identifying the most successful shapes, we separated them and then went back through them and identified the positive and negative of each of the shapes. The first one we liked that all the edges were rounded, the second one the two bottom corners were rounded and it made it look weird. The third and fourth shapes were too rounded. So we decided to go with the 1 shape.

After selecting the shape I then moved onto experimenting with various different stroke weights and again we Adam spoke about the different shapes. Then went through them all and commented on each of them after this we finally selected the 4th shape as we thought the stroke was the correct size for the branding.

Above is the final shape we finalised.
