Design Brief 6 - Social Media Design

After producing the lookbook, I brought in all the design elements I used into illustartor and began to piece together the elements to create the social media posts. This will ensure that the designs I produce will be cohesive with one another if I use the same elements. To begin I started out by producing 6 posts which can be posted each day before the drop to build hype for the clothing. These posts gave a tease of the style of the clothing items and get people taking about the brand. As within my research, I found that building hype around the brand makes the sale of the item go better and it makes people want to buy your items. After I was happy with the 6 teaser posts, I then moved onto designing another 3 which would be posted at the same time showing off the clothing items and give a size guide for the clothing. Within all of the designs for the social media posts I used the same background colour as the lookbook as well as the green tape and typeface to ensure all the designs I produced were cohesive with one another.

After I was happy with my designs, I then mocked it up on an Instagram template to see what the posts would look like when posted onto the platform.
