Design Brief 3 - Poster Design

After producing all the mockups for all the packaging design, these include the tomato ketchup, mayo, beanz and tomato soup.
Me and Adam both agreed we wanted a type heavy poster with the slogan 'new style same great taste' which featured the new logo and the new shape of the label as well as the packaging design. So I began by importing all the other brand assets both me and Adam have produced into a file and then I started to design different poster designs. I worked with similar assets within all the posters but experimented with different layouts and type styles. I only produced a small selection of poster however I showed them to Adam and we both agreed the first poster I designed was the most successful and I should more on with that.
I then explored the design with multiple packaging designs however this made the type too hard to read. I also tried the design with the new slogan 'new style same ketchup' which would be changed depending on the product.
I then applied both of the slogans to the other products I designed with both of the slogans. I then showed the designs to Adam and we agreed the first slogan worked the best as the second design had a weird gap in the middle and when we closed the gap the balance of the design was threw off.
I then reversed the colours of the design and placed them beside one another to produce the design above. Which could be used on a billboard.
I then experimented with this design style with all the other products which are shown above. I also tried the design with all the products in one poster with alternative poster colours.
I also explored using all the products in one poster with the colours of each product in the background however this distracted the eye from the products themselves.
After I produced the posters, I then applied them to a mockup to see how they would look if they were used in the real world.
