When taking the file from the IPad into illustrator I found that the background colours weren't filled correctly and it left lines within the shapes. So I started out by recreating the shapes using the pen tool within illustrator, when doing so I saw that shapes were to perfect for the nature of the design. So I then experiemented using the blob brush in illustrator and roughly drew the shapes which then gave me the desired look I was wanting.

I then moved onto experimenting with different colours for the background shapes, however, I was not liking any of the outcomes.

So I removed the background shapes and realised I really like the just black and white and this also made the design stand out from the other book cover as this design would be just black and white. I also tried incorporating the people illustration from a previous design however this made the book cover look too crowd so I decided against using it.
