A basic definition of clothing is that they are items we were on our body to keep us warm. However overtime this has become more complex as clothing is still there to keep us warm but it can also be utilised to express ourselves and how interests to other people. Clothing is typically made from various fabrics and textiles however overtime brand have implemented more and more unique and exclusive materials into their products. Therefore making them more desirable and limited so people will pay more for them.
There are a vast amount of different clothing and we define them into different categories these being Outer wear, Active wear, Swimwear, Tailored clothing (Suits), Social wear / special occasion wear, Casual wear (Sports wear), Bridal wear Evening wear, Undergarments, Uniforms & Work wear, Knit wear, Lounge wear, Shirts and blouses, Bottoms and Sleep wear. Many items of clothing can follow under multiple categories. Within these categories, there are different types of clothing these include, socks, t-shirts, bottoms, jackets, coats, hoodies, skirts, and dresses.
