Design Brief 1 - Branding guidelines
After we finalised the logo design, I then moved onto creating a full brand identity for the sushi food truck. As a collective me and Kira went through several different colour palettes and tested them. However we found that a small black and white design with a bright vibrant incorporated worked best. We also found using a off white and black worked better and made the design look more professional and soften the design. From our experiments with trying different colours we found we really liked the red and blue from other palettes. So we decided to used them both within our branding depending on the background the logo is placed on. However, we agreed that the blue should be used first over the red. After we agreed I then moved onto developing a brand guidelines for our branding. This included all the sushi illustrations from the initial logo design stage. As well as a ‘S’ symbol which could be used within other designs for the brand. It also included the typefaces we used in the logo as well as the logo in the branding colours which can be used as secondary logos.
