Design Brief 2 - Type Specimen

Once we had a typeable font, It was then ready to use the typeface on a piece of design work. In the brief one of our deliverables was to design a full type specimen.
Above is an initial screenshot of the type specimen I designed but I didn't think the colours worked for our typeface this made it feel more mechanical and perfect. Whereas I think our typeface is more all over the place so I think a colour relating to nature will fit better for our speicmen.
This was the second type specimen I made but I thought it was all over the place and the format didn't match our typeface. At this time I realised a less traditional long landscape format would work better to showcase the typeface. As it is something different to the traditional way of producing a type specimen.
Above is the type specimen I produced for this project, It showcases the font as well as what I believe to be the most successful letterforms which were created during the project. The specimen shows the name of the font, the full alphabet and numbers as well as the different weights of the font as well as the most successful letters. Which are the key things to include in a type specimen from the research I did.
